BYD Europe BV offers a full line of BYD electric vehicles, including all-electric cars, all-electric buses, and all-electric forklift trucks.</p><p><strong>About the job</strong></p><p>We are looking for a <strong>Business</strong><strong> Support Specialist</strong> for our Financial department.</p><p>The Financial department within BYD Europe is responsible for financial planning, financial reporting and analysis, budget control, operational support and business support.</p><p>The main objective of the financial department is to ensure stable financial operations and provide supervision and support for business.</p><p>The Business Support Specialist reports directly to the Head of Financial Department.</p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul> <li>Measurement and evaluation of passenger car pricing.</li> <li>Financial plan, sales campaign and leasing offer evaluation.</li> <li>Responsible for rebate settlement review, ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of rebate settlement;</li> <li>Responsible for business policy review, ensuring the feasibility and timely issuance of business policies.</li> <li>Conduct market analysis and competitor analysis on the responsible vehicle models.</li> <li>Prepare rebate statements, summarize report data, and report to management to provide support for decision-making.</li> <li>Contract and agreement review, identification and control of financial risks associated with terms and conditions.</li> <li>Monitor and analyze business metrics, identifying trends and providing actionable insights</li> <li>Collaborate with the IT department to promote the systematization of various modules such as pricing, commercial policies, financial offers, promotions, rebate settlements, etc.</li> <li>Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize business processes and business operations.</li> <li>Answers questions and provides assistance to stakeholders, customers and clients as needed.</li> </ul><p><strong>Required skills, qualifications and experience</strong></p><ul> <li>MBO or HBO education in finance, accounting, international economics and trade or another related area;</li> <li>2 years of working experience at least in a similar role;</li> <li>Having work experience in the automotive industry is a plus; </li> <li>Advanced spoken and written Chinese and English. </li> <li>Knowledge and understanding of corporate finance functions and procedures;</li> <li>Proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint);</li> <li>Excellent communication, collaboration and problem-solving skills;</li> <li>Detail oriented and good with analyzing large data.</li> <li>Able to work under pressure and handle multi-tasks;</li> </ul><p>We offer:</p><ul> <li>Performance and experience based competitive remuneration, pension plan.</li> <li>25 holidays + option to purchase 5 extra holidays.</li> <li>Commuting allowance.</li> <li>Department &amp; company wide teambuilding events.</li> <li>An exciting opportunity to be part of European transition to Zero Emissions transportation and de-carbonization of the economy.</li> </ul><p>Our Purpose is to build a zero-emission future that reconnects humanity with nature and a World of clean air.
