Position Overview
The State of Illinois and the Illinois Environmental Protection Agency (Illinois EPA) are seeking an experienced and visionary leader to serve as the Senior Public Service Administrator, Option 1 – State Electric Vehicle Policy Advisor. In this pivotal role, you will shape and advance policies that drive the development and operation of electric vehicle programs and infrastructure across Illinois. The successful candidate will lead statewide coordination of electric vehicle initiatives across executive agencies under the Governor, serve as a key liaison between Illinois EPA and state, federal, municipal partners, and industry stakeholders and, research, design, and secure funding opportunities to accelerate electrification and expand EV infrastructure throughout the State.

Essential Functions
- Serves as Policy Advisor on behalf of the Director of IEPA and the Statewide Electric Vehicle (EV) Coordinator and effectuates policies primarily related to Electric Vehicle programs.
