Job Description Qualifications:

Boeing's Supplier Restructuring & Special Situations group is currently looking for a Senior Restructuring Analyst to join the team in Seattle, WA, in the heart of the Puget Sound area.


Supplier Restructuring & Special Situations  is responsible for assessing and mitigating financially-distressed situations within the Boeing supply chain. The team operates enterprise-wide, and works closely with business unit leadership, Boeing Legal, and Boeing Enterprise Credit Risk.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Assess financially-distressed supplier situations and lead the development of mitigation strategies to reduce/avoid impact to the business unit
  • Assess the supplier’s near-term and long-term financial viability, including 3-statement financial modeling, 13-week cash flow projections and other similar analyses
  • Lead execution of nonstandard mitigation strategies, which could include distressed debt transactions, changes of control, asset sales, turnaround loans, and financial advisory services
  • Lead distressed lending transactions, if part of supplier mitigations, including construction of business cases, loan management, and any necessary restructuring, bankruptcy, or workout negotiations
  • Participate in negotiations with suppliers and other stakeholders to effectuate mitigations
  • Prepare presentation materials to be utilized for approval, update and decision-making purposes
  • Ad hoc activities related to financial risk monitoring and mitigation

This position is expected to be 100% onsite.  The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

This position must meet export control compliance requirements. To meet export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15 is required.  “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee. 

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor's degree or higher
  • 5+ years of experience with analysis of financial statements, financial or resource forecasts, and/or the assessment of associated risks and opportunities
  • 5+ years of experience with workout/ distressed situations
  • 3+ years of experience communicating to employees, customers, peers, and multiple levels of leadership
  • 3+ years of experience with PowerPoint and Excel for data analysis and presentations

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • 3+ years of experience working in restructuring scenarios
  • Strong desire to work as part of a team
  • Flexibility to work on multiple projects at one time
  • Ability to operate in a changing environment
  • Propensity toward action and ability to make decisions with incomplete or inaccurate information

Typical Education/Experience: 
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 15 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+13 years' related work experience, 19 years' related work experience, etc.)

Summary pay range: $141,950 - $185,000
