Job Description
The University of Nevada, Las Vegas invites applications for Research Analyst, Research Department, Kirk Kerkorian School of Medicine [R0148350] -REVISED
ROLE of the POSITION
The Research Analyst works directly under a Senior Researcher within the Office of Research at the Kirk Kerkorian School of Medicine at UNLV on several research projects (funded as well as un-funded), with faculty, staff and learners, including grant-funded research projects
Specific tasks include but not limited to:
Study designing and implementation
Data collection, cleaning and analysis
Assisting in completing and management of Institutional Review Board protocols
Creating and validating survey tools
Drafting reports, manuscripts, posters, presentations, social media and/or newsletters and websites
Database management including data cleaning, data dictionary, and data curation, data dashboard creation/maintenance
Other duties depending upon research priorities
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
This position requires a Master’s Degree from an accredited college or university in an applicable field of training (e.g., Public Health, Anthropology, Sociology, Psychology or similar fields of Social Sciences) and 1-3 years of related experience. Credentials must be obtained prior to the start of employment.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Doctoral Degree from an accredited college or university in an applicable field of training (e.g., Public Health, Anthropology, Sociology, Psychology or similar fields of Social Sciences) and 3-5 years’ experience in a Social Science setting.
