The Windows + Devices Design and Research Team is looking for a Senior UX Researcher to be part of a team creating experiences that empower more than 1 billion Windows customers around the world. As part of a multidisciplinary team, you will be working and innovating alongside design and product owners to bring a human-centered and data-driven approach to innovate and simplify complex problems into compelling customer-driven solutions.

In this role you’ll be responsible for spearheading research for Windows Core UX, developing insights across the product cycle. Bringing a holistic perspective, you’ll identify the right questions and apply the right methods to support customers in design decisions that align with our customer-centered culture.
Successful candidates will have experience executing UX research in industry, an experienced mixed methods research background, effective communication and storytelling skills and the ability to work across a multi-disciplinary team.

Responsibilities
- Act as a product-making research partner and advocating for the people and businesses Windows can support in meeting their goals.
- Partner with cross-disciplinary product teams to ensure customer voice is represented across the product cycle.
- Develop and gain alignment on your research agenda to solve user needs while meeting business goals.
- Design and execute studies that address user behavior and attitudes, using the right methodology for the right questions.
- Generate insights that shape how product teams think about medium and long-term product strategy.
- Support and drive development of experience metrics with researchers on our team and across the company.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Human Factors Engineering, Computer Science, Technical Communications, Information Science, Information Architecture, User Experience Design, Behavioral Science, Social Sciences, or related field AND 4+ years User Experience Research experience
OR Master's Degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Human Factors Engineering, Computer Science, Technical Communications, Information Science, Information Architecture, User Experience Design, Behavioral Science, Social Sciences, or related field AND 3+ years User Experience Research experience
OR Doctorate in Human-Computer Interaction, Human Factors Engineering, Computer Science, Technical Communications, Information Science, Information Architecture, User Experience Design, Behavioral Science, Social Scie
