Senior Systems Engineer

Mission Summary:

You will help analyze, design and test our AV Fault Detection and Response system to ensure we have a safe and reliable product. 

What you'll be doing:

• Coordinate with hardware and software teams to analyze current and proposed AV designs to identify faults to detect to support safety and reliability goals
• Establish requirements for proposed faults
• Establish V&V plan for the faults to ensure correct implementation
• Coordinate with development teams to ensure faults get implemented
• Support testing on execution of V&V plan
• Analyze on road data to validate fault behavior is behaving as expected and support triaging if identified issues for potential new faults

What we're looking for: 

• Experience in control system fault detection
• Experience with V&V activities (software testing, Software in Loop, Hardware in Loop, Vehicle Integration)
• Experience in Autonomous Vehicles or other robotics industries
• Ability to adapt traditional systems engineering and test activities to an Agile environment
• Excellent communication skills; effective in communicating complex concepts and driving resolutions
• Excellent interpersonal skills to build relationships with other teams
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
