Summary of Duties

As a Nursing Facility Client Care Surveyor, you will:

  • Conduct survey work to evaluate the quality and adequacy of care and services received by residents of Nursing Facilities (NF) for substantial compliance within mandated federal regulations and state rules within required time frames.

  • Work with a team of surveyors, either as a team member or a team coordinator, working both independently for some tasks, and in a consensus process for others.

  • Write reports of findings using specified CMS computer software program, and according to CMS “Principles of Documentation” guidelines. Reports must be clearly descriptive of findings, concise, complete, and legally defensible.

  • Conduct intake/triage work to capture, review, clarify, and augment through interview and record review all relevant data received for NF public complaints and facility reported incidents usin
