SUMMARY

As ANSYS’s Cyber Response Engineer you will be responsible for developing the company’s tactics, techniques and procedures for cyber incident response, the investigation of potential breach and assisting in returning the organization to a secure state should such an incident occur. You will engage directly with peer teams in order to determine threat actor activity in our environment, quickly assess complex situations and ensure the integrity of the company’s assets. In addition, you will assist in selecting and deploying technologies which enhance our cyber response capabilities.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

 

• Lead response operations in order to remove threat actors from the corporate environment should they be able to establish a foothold.
• Conduct digital forensics investigations.
• Document cyber response findings and present them to leadership in a clear, concise manner.
• Perform malware analysis and reverse engineering of suspicious files.
• Develop cyber response tactics, techniques and procedures.
   

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

 

• Experience with command level scripting (PowerShell, Bash etc).
• Strong technical knowledge of networks, operating systems and enterprise IT functions.
• Thorough understanding of VPN solutions.
• Deep practical knowledge of standard OS distributions

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• One or more of the following competencies preferred (SQL, AD/AZAD, Exchange, Python/Powershell scripting/prototyping, eDiscovery models/workflows)
