Raytheon’s Mission Capability Verification Center within Systems Integration and Test is seeking a System Engineer to support program test operations and Telemetry data collection and analysis activities with our team at White Sands Missile Range, NM.

What You Will Do

  • Operation, Maintenance and Sustainment of telemetry software and hardware, before and during testing in the field
  • Support mission execution, which includes movement of telemetry vehicles, generators, and equipment set-up, including lift and carry of equipment 25+ lbs.
  • Coordination and checkout of telemetry equipment, data collection, analysis software tools, and tracking of telemetry reduction packages
  • Support Live Missile firings while collecting telemetry data.
    • This includes working outdoors under various weather conditions, and in the vicinity of energized equipment, radar radiation hazards, and unexploded ordnance.
  • Other duties as required
  • Anticipated travel is expected to be 50%. Travel to support test execution both domestic and international locations.

Qualifications You Must Have  

  • Typically requires a Bachelor’s in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM), and a minimum of 2 years of prior engineering experience.
  • Experience with the instrumentation, and/or test equipment, i.e (oscilloscope, multi-meter and/or spectrum analyzer).
  • Experience with RF, testing and/or reading schematics.
  • Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Qualifications We Prefer

  • Experience with Microsoft Office i.e. (office tools, excel, word, etc)
  • Experience with Dewesoft data acquisition systems.
  • Experience working on a missile test range, supporting telemetry data collection and analysis.

The salary range for this role is 66,000 USD - 130,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
