If changing health care for the better sounds like something you want to be part of, apply today.At Banner, we are building our Culinary and Nutrition Services team with high performing, close knit and diverse group of individuals who take pride in providing our patients and staff with spectacular service. As a part of our Culinary team, as a Food Service Worker you will be responsible for providing service and assistance to patients, staff and other customers in accordance with established dietary and retail cafe policies and procedures.  Some of the additional duties as a Food Service Worker is the cleaning of the kitchen and dining room and dishwashing throughout your day.  You will be cross trained to many of the areas in the kitchen, including barista, cashier, tray line, dishwashing, and other back of the house and front of house duties, ensuring we keep up with the process flow.  You will assist with food prep, unbox foods and supplies, lifting and carrying boxes from storage and ensure shelves are restocked. Banner Ocotillo Medical Center is set to open fall of 2020, at this time, this position is due to start in November 2020.Shift: VariedLocation: 1900 N Higley Road, Gilbert AZIf you have food service background, enjoy providing premier customer service and consider yourself a true team player, then this might be the ideal fit for you! Banner MD Anderson Cancer Center Located in Gilbert, Ariz. (the Phoenix Metro area) on the Banner Gateway Campus, the center provides world-class care for oncology patients - both inpatient and outpatient - and has also brought leading oncology programs to the Banner Gateway campus including designation as a Stem Cell Transplant Center of Excellence and comprehensive Head & Neck cancer care. Our capabilities include five linear accelerator vaults, a brachytherapy vault, an advanced diagnostic imaging suite with PET/CT scan, more than 70 infusion bays, a cryopreservation lab and much more. POSITION SUMMARY
This position works as a member of the food service team on one or more assignments in cleaning, food preparation, patient trayline or retail café. Provides service and assistance to patients, staff and other customers in accordance with established dietary and retail cafe policies and procedures.
