We’re a diverse group of innovative thinkers, creators, and problem-solvers who believe in delivering an incredible product—and having fun while doing it.</span><br/><b>The opportunity </b><br/>We are looking for an experienced <b>Senior Embedded Linux developer</b>, to contribute to our camera firmware team.<br/>We have designated teams for most of our video processing and AI, so we don’t expect you to be an expert in those fields. You will still have to interface with both worlds though, and therefore have the <b>opportunity to get experience with both domains</b>.<br/>You have at least a <b>3-5 years of industry experience</b> with working on <b>connected embedded products</b>, and have expert knowledge in solving the usual day to day problems in such a system, as well as venturing into new territory in terms of new SoCs, video pipelines, communication protocols, and application architecture.<br/>We are looking for someone with <b>seniority in their field,</b> with confidence in their skills, and the capacity to <b>independently investigate and resolve issues</b>, while knowing when to seek collaboration or support. You should be able to coordinate<b> larger initiatives</b> on the firmware stack, involving stakeholders from relevant cloud and AI teams, and be well-versed in <b>defining firmware and application architectures</b>. <h3>What you could bring</h3> <ul> <li><b>Linux Systems Programming</b> Mastery in developing firmware for embedded Linux (Yocto) systems, including Yocto configuration, device trees, inter-process communication, state management, self-diagnostics, automated testing, bootloaders.</li><li><b>MCU programming</b> Ability to develop low-level drivers and firmware for a variety of MCU architectures and real-time operating systems, interfacing them with external peripherals, battery management systems, firmware updates and device trees.</li><li><b>Wireless communication (BLE / WiFi).</b> Extensive experience with building BLE devices, implementing and optimizing GATT services, device discovery and connection handling. Experience with devices supporting both BLE and WiFi, as well as handling communication with mobile devices.</li><li><b>Integration with cloud systems.</b> Extensive knowledge in integrating embedded systems with cloud services, particularly using REST APIs.
