Senior Product Developer, Womens

Location: HQ- Williamsburg, BK
Status: Full-Time
Compensation: $80,000-90,000

RESPONSIBILITIES 

• Meet with design weekly, to discuss outstanding collections, timelines, fabrics, and allocation 

• Once collection is confirmed, build seasonal WIP (Google Sheets) with all style information 

• Create style numbers and color codes for every SKU 

• Work with Design and RM to determine factory allocation 

• Build BOMs for all SKUS

• Maintain Trim and Lining library across all factories 

• Send seasonal T&A to all factories, outlining due dates and expectations 

• Launch all Tech Packs for development and production 

• Fill in HTS codes for each style, work with logistics to confirm 

• Review and analyze all costing; enter costing into the WIP 

• Enter all costing comparison information into the WIP, reviewing similar styles from previous year

• Prep samples / racks for Internal Buy meetings; printing CADS of missing styles, and working with RM to pull any necessary lab dips or strike offs 

• All daily factory communication relating to development 

• Help with research and develop for sweaters, RM does not work on sweater development. This is owned strictly by PD. 

• Launch all seasonal trims; approve trim submits once received 

• Check in all samples upon receipt

• Check weekly WIPs from the factories, and enter updates into the shared WIP 

• Help materials with seasonal development and approvals 

• Review key dates and strategy in order to maintain bulk timelines 

• Ship all reference samples 

• Season Product Knowledge (PK)

EXPERIENCE

• Extremely organized 

• Can work in a very fast paced environment 

• 5-7 years of Product Development apparel experience

• Understanding of basic garment construction 

• Understanding of sweater development / construction 

• PLM experience a plus 

• Google Sheets experience a plus
