Quality Assurance Life Science Intern (position located in Tucson, AZ)

The Summer Intern program at CooperSurgical provides university students with the opportunity to participate in meaningful projects that contribute to the overall business unit objectives. In addition to the assigned projects, Interns are given the opportunity to participate in activities that encourage networking with peers, managers, and employees.

CooperSurgical Life Science is part of the CooperSurgical family consisting of multiple business units. This internship is an opportunity to learn about different business, product and services at CooperSurgical Life Sciences. Intercompany agreements are important to define ownership of processes and expectations. In this role, the intern obtains vast knowledge and understanding of each company, different departmental functions and how we all work together to give the best service to our customers.  

Essential Functions

• Project execution of intercompany agreements amongst the CooperSurgical Life Sciences
• Scheduling follow up or routine meetings with the necessary stakeholders to collect their input(s)
• Participate in development of internal company agreements
• Assist the Quality Assurance team in data, evaluation of roles and responsibilities of different business and related functions
• Work with multiple CooperSurgical business units/ subsidiaries to understand the business and product(s)
• Participate actively in all offered intern activities

• Intermediate skill in the use of Excel, Word and PowerPoint. Advanced preferred.
• Well organized with attention to detail and ability to carry out tasks independently.
• Excellent project management, organizational and follow-through skill set.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Positive work attitude and professional demeanor.
• Must be willing to work on site in our Tucson, Arizona location for this position 

Experience

• Not required, but prior Internship or metrology experience is a plus.

Education

• Current university student, majoring in Science, Data Analytics, entering their Junior or Senior year.
• Completed course work in (coursework preference).
