About the role

Reference - OPM Group Coverage Qualification Standards for Administrative and Management Positions in conjunction with Individual Occupational Requirements for 1361: Navigational Information Series. To qualify for this position you must demonstrate in your application that you possess at least one year of Specialized Experience equivalent to the FV-I or GS/FG-13 level in the Federal service. Specialized Experience is experience that has equipped you with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position. Experience will include: experience as a technical specialist for one or more of the following program areas: development, maintenance, or revision of Terminal/En-route Instrument Flight Procedures (lFPs); Ensuring lFPs are coordinated and integrated into the NAS and provide for safe operation of aircraft; Collecting, evaluating and verifying aeronautical data; Experience providing subject matter guidance on automation applications as used by Aeronautical information Services (AIS); At least one year of experience utilizing Terminal Area Route Generation and Traffic Simulation (TARGETS) to development/design Instrument Flight Procedures IIFPs).
