Senior Technical Software Architect

Overview

We're seeking a talented, knowledgeable, and respected individual from within our company to step into the role of Senior Technical Software Architect, for the AFAH Product Line. This is an incredible opportunity to expand your knowledge while deepening relationships and fostering innovation. You'll serve as a bridge between our Customers and our Research & Development teams.

 

 

 

 

Responsibilities

• Architecture Design: Architect and guide our as-a-service Platform, aligning it with business needs and objectives.
• Stakeholder Management: Foster strong relationships between our R&D team, third parties editors and Cloud providers. Act as the primary contact and build mutually beneficial relationships to ensure our solution meets R&D needs and industry standards.
• Guidance and Mentoring: Guide and mentor team members on best practices for architecture design, deployment, and management.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with other departments to understand their requirements, and deliver solutions that are efficient, secure, and scalable.
• Customer Representation: Represent the needs of our customers in architectural decisions, ensuring our solutions remain customer-focused and drive business value.
• Innovation and Improvement: Continually improve our solution and processes, promoting the adoption of the relevant technologies.

 

Qualifications

 

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Advanced knowledge of software design, major cloud platforms, especially AWS and/or Azure, and strong understanding of cloud architecture principles.
• Expertise on different technologies such as full stack development (java, javascript, React…), database, network, security.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a cooperative attitude that promotes teamwork.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage complex, cross-functional projects.
• Writing skills, particularly for drafting and specifying user stories and other technical documents in English with precision and clarity
• Customer-focused mindset with a passion for delivering value to clients.

 

Preferred Skills & Qualifications:

• Cloud-related certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect) would be a plus.
• Experience in managing relationships with customers and third parties.
• A strong understanding of R&D processes and tools inside Axway.
