The opportunity
In Supply Chain Manufacturing Tech, you will focus on the evaluation, design, customization and optimization of Digital shopfloor systems and Cloud based solutions for manufacturing. You will team with various EY groups with digital capabilities to pursue and deliver digital engagements and deliver solutions that will bring our client’s digital vision and strategy to life.
As a Senior in Technology Transformation Program Delivery, you will be at the forefront of driving and managing technology transformation projects and programs that align with our organizational strategy to achieve desired outcomes. You will provide assurance to leadership by managing timelines, costs, and quality, leading both technical and non-technical project teams in the development and implementation of technology solutions and/or infrastructure.
Your key responsibilities
In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for contributing to the delivery of one or more processes, solutions, and/or projects by delivering agreed activities and applying judgment. You will select appropriate methodologies to inform recommendations, considering success criteria, barriers, risks, and issues. You will be accountable for meeting your own targets which impact the immediate team and may help coordinate the work of junior colleagues or team members. You will also meet performance objectives and metrics set locally. Your time will be spent on:
- Defining and executing deliverables.
- Tracking deliverable completion and project status.
- Regular travel as needed by external clients.
Skills and attributes for success
To thrive in this role, you will need a strong foundation in project and program delivery methods, including Agile and waterfall, and the ability to coach others on relevant processes, tools, techniques, and enabling technologies. You should be able to propose solutions to technical constraints and anticipate bottlenecks in the system development cycle. Additional skills include:
- Decision-making based on broad policies and personal knowledge/experience.
- Working on complex issues where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors
- Working in project teams through agreed upon phases of project governance, requirements definition, vendor selection, risk analysis, customization, testing, training and rollout of a client's project lifecycle
- Working with team members in developing applicable methodologies, tools, approaches, points of view, thought leadership and accelerators to differentiate EY in the Digital and Emerging Technology Consulting market
- Providing broad technical and functional knowledge of various key technology and business platforms
- Teaming with client technology professionals, and third-party strategic alliances
- Developing long-term relationships and networks both internally and externally
- Interacting and communicating effectively with teammates, clients, stakeholders, and executives
