Position Description

The therapist is a critical role in our Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) and Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP), helping to guide children, adolescents, and their families through pivotal moments of healing and personal growth. As part of a multidisciplinary clinical team, the therapist provides individual, group, and family therapy, serving as a therapeutic advocate and change agent for our clients. As part of their clinical duties, the ideal candidate will develop and implement trauma-informed, developmentally appropriate treatment strategies utilizing evidence-based therapeutic modalities.

Program Context

Our IOP and PHP services provide intensive, structured mental health treatment that bridges the gap between traditional outpatient care and inpatient hospitalization. These programs offer:

• Smooth transition and step-down care strategies

Core Clinical Duties

The therapist will be responsible for comprehensive clinical care, including:

• Assessment and Intake
  • Conduct thorough initial psychological assessments and completing comprehensive diagnostic evaluations
  • Assessing client safety, risk factors, and immediate treatment needs
  • Document initial clinical impressions and recommended treatment approaches
• Treatment Planning
  • Develop individualized treatment plans
  • Establish clear, measurable therapeutic goals
  • Regularly review and update treatment plans
  • Collaborate with treatment team to ensure comprehensive care
  • Integrate input from clients, families, and other healthcare providers
• Direct Clinical Interventions
  • Provide individual therapy sessions for adolescent clients
  • Facilitate structured group therapy sessions
  • Conduct family
