Responsibilities
NoblisMSD is seeking a Software Engineer candidate to have the following responsibilities:
- Work directly with end users to assist in gathering software requirements as well as software demos and reviews.
- Full-stack development including front end, business logic, and data access layers
- Deliver well tested, scalable code that meets specified requirements by developing high quality code, providing feedback during code reviews, and implementing feedback during code reviews
- Mentor and assist in the training and onboarding of other team members
- Work closely with other members of the development team and stakeholders
Analyzes, designs, programs, debugs, and modifies software enhancements and/or new products used in local, networked, cloud-based or Internet-related computer programs. Code may be used in commercial or end-user applications, such as materials management, financial management, HRIS, mobile apps or desktop applications products. Using current programming language and technologies, writes code, completes programming, and performs testing and debugging of applications. Completes documentation and procedures for installation and maintenance. May interact with users to define system requirements and/or necessary modifications.
Solve a variety of structured problems by applying professional standards and Noblis concepts and methodologies. Have knowledge of a particular area and a general awareness of other areas. Working independently with general instruction, apply intermediate skills to deliver high quality work products and services to support projects. Responsible for planning and managing project deliverables and engaging in open-minded interactions with clients and coworkers to deliver results. Responsible for expanding your capabilities in current work and leveraging opportunities to grow through interactions across the organization.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or an equivalent technical field
- Active DoD Secret Level Security Clearance (or the ability to obtain this clearance upon position acceptance) is required for this position
- 3 to 5 years’ experience in software development within the .NET framework
- The ability to design and write web applications using both standard web (HTML/CSS/JavaScript +jQuery) and Microsoft technologies including .NET, C#, Entity Framework and/or .Net Core
- Cyber certification is required to be obtained for this position (CompTIA Security+)
Desired Qualifications
- Strong experience with Microsoft SQL Server including T-SQL programming and solid database design and management skills
- Experience writing documentation, data administration, and testing is necessary
- Experience with a source control platform, like git, is necessary
