1st Shift, Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm

What you’ll do on a typical day:
- Develop solutions that leverage and expand upon the company Business Intelligence (BI) platform
- Drive the strategic and tactical design and deployment of BI processes and procedures
- Ensure the use of BI applications enhance the business decision-making process and capabilities
- Design an effective strategy for deployment of solutions and information utilizing the best industry BI tools
- Create a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement that drives cross-functional engagement within the operational and centralized planning and analytics areas
- Engage with stakeholders across the organization to align priorities, build and execute development plans and communicate solution design trade-offs and recommendations
- Define and enforce standards to sustain the platform’s effectiveness; experiment with and promote adoption of new tools and approaches when appropriate
- Mentor and train analytical resources in best practices; simplify and communicate success stories to broader audiences across the company

The annual salary range for this role is $101,073- $126,342. GXO, in good faith, believes this is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and this range is only applicable for jobs to be performed in California. This rate may be modified in the future. What you need to succeed at GXO:
At a minimum, you’ll need:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Engineering or Computer Science or equivalent related work or military experience
- 5 years of experience in business intelligence and data analytics, delivering business solutions that rely on effective availability, usability and understandability of data and analytical workflows
- Experience with data modeling and integration (ETL) designs and approaches
It’d be great if you also have:
- MBA or master’s degree in Mathematics, Engineering, Computer Science or related field
- Certified Business Intelligence Professional from Transforming Data with Intelligence (TDWI) and R/Python certifications
- 3 + years’ experience delivering BI and data analytics solutions that involve statistical modeling or machine learning and the use of associated R/Python libraries and tooling, which emphasize effective design and usability for end users
- Knowledge of machine learning, such as k-nearest neighbors, Random Forests, ensemble methods and their corresponding implementation packages in R (Caret, RWeka, etc.) and Python (scikit-learn, TensorFlow, Keras, NLTK, etc.)
- Understanding of data warehouse concepts such as: patterns for time variance and generic versus explicit data structures; standards-based approaches for object names and data types; using logical data models to document and explain business
