The Goddard School® located at 4320 N School Hill Rd Buckeye Arizona. is seeking a dedicated and nurturing Office Assistant to join our team! As an Office Assistant, you will collaborate and assist the Directors throughout the day with the schools operating needs.This pivotal role includes classroom support, enhanced curriculum delivery and adapting dynamically to meet the evolving educational needs of our school community.  Nurture your growth.   • Provide flexible classroom support to ensure a consistent and high-quality educational experience 
  • Assist directors with day to day responsibilities throughout the school with flexibility and willingness to show teamwork
  • Supervise and engage with children both indoors and outdoors, ensuring their safety, well-being and social development
  • Offer personalized attention, foster and ensure families are welcomed and safety is followed within the school
  • Collaborate and communicate transparently with families about children's progress and achievements
  • Maintain clean and inviting classrooms, kitchen space, adhering to health, safety and licensing regulations
  • Assist with daily care routines and tasks to promote a nurturing learning environment
Schedule: Must be available to work between the hours of 6 am-6 pm, a normal schedule would be an 8 hour shift, including closing at 6pm.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma required, additional college education preferred
  • Empathy and compassion for young children
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with staff, children and families
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. in connection with the handling of children
  • Must pass required state background checks and meet state minimum education, experience and credential requirements
  • Must present a professional and pleasant work outlook
