Job Description

• Your mission: prepare Scalable Capital’s technology to serve the next several million users
• Own our platform scalability strategy in close alignment with company goals and overall product strategy.
• Collaborate with feature teams to identify the bottlenecks in performance, efficiency and scalability.
• Work together with a development team of platform engineers to design effective solutions.
• Coordinate resources, own the OKR process, create timelines and manage dependencies to ensure the best delivery.
• Drive the execution and rollout process of scalability solutions across the entire organization.
• Set up and monitor clear KPIs in order to validate and demonstrate your success.
• Coordinate all relevant stakeholders, especially our in-house engineering teams.

Qualifications

• A university degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics or another related field
• Passion for technology and for building internal platforms
• A deep technical understanding and experience in building highly scalable & reliable technology platforms
• Experience in agile product development, ideally in a cloud-native, micro service based environment
• Prior experience as a backend developer in the financial services field is a plus
• Hands-on mentality: from idea to execution, you own the process and moderate trade-off decisions during the development process with the developers
• Excellent communication skills that are clear, concise, and targeted towards your audience - software engineer, stakeholder, or executive
• Excellent English communication skills
