JOB SUMMARY
As part of the Global Learning & Development Team, the Sr. Manager, Learning & Development drives global initiatives to build organizational capabilities. Partnering with key stakeholders, they align learning strategy with business goals, optimize existing solutions, and implement innovative programs. They leverage cutting-edge L&D technology to enhance efficiency, scalability, and impact while measuring on business outcomes.  In partnership with Human Resources, SMEs, and business leaders, this role analyzes learning needs, designs, develops, and implements solutions impacting development worldwide.

LOCATION

This role will be based on-site at our St. Petersburg, FL corporate facility.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Design and implement skills frameworks and L&D solutions that align with functional strategies (programs, content, technology, measurement, and training operations). Collaborate with stakeholders to assess skill gaps, anticipate future needs, and leverage emerging technology. Develop a comprehensive upskilling strategy and coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment, accountability, and execution.

  • Training delivery, facilitation and evaluation of programs and other structured development solutions aligned with business strategies to enhance employee capabilities and achieve business objectives. Assure use of appropriate instructional design methods, adult-learning theory and media.

  • Identify training needs through governance, the use of effective needs analyses and input from the appropriate stakeholders within the organization to determine technical, professional, managerial, and leadership training needs.

  • Utilize cutting-edge technology, including AI-driven solutions, to design and deliver scalable, efficient learning programs that enhance workforce development and drive operational excellence. Optimize the benefits from an enterprise learning management system (LMS), in alignment with broader talent management technology initiatives.

  • Develop team members through daily coaching, the administration of performance management and the creation and implementation of personal development plans.

  • Administer training metrics, program evaluation, ROI and tracking training programs Ensure learning programs are up-to-date and maintained to ensure continued effectiveness.

  • May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.


JOB QUALIFICATIONS
 

KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS

  • Expertise in training needs analysis and instructional design (classroom, blended, online, communities, learning support), or other relevant area learning program design and delivery

  • Strong Strategic, systems thinker with broad understanding of the value of major talent management domains (talent strategy, talent acquisition, skills management, leadership development, succession and performance).

  • Proven ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously in a dynamic global corporate environment.

  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills; delivers clear, concise and influential messages.

  • Skilled in evaluating effectiveness and return on investment in leadership programs. Experience integrating skills into organizational initiatives that build leadership capability.


EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field required.

  • Minimum of 8-10+ years of experience managing and leading learning and development strategies and solutions.

  • Minimum of 5 years in a management position.

  • Experience in a complex global corporate environment.

  • Experience utilizing and implementing enterprise Learning Management Systems, including: Requirements definition, vendor selection, and reporting and metrics.

  • Or an equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience.
