Job Description

Associates of CoBank's Capital Markets Development Program progress through a 24-month rotational program in different functional areas in CoBank's Credit and Capital Markets Divisions to gain a foundational understanding of credit underwriting and loan syndications. Rotational assignments provide on-the-job experience with CoBank's various Banking Divisions and Capital Markets teams, and each rotation offers the opportunity to train with and support these CoBank teams.

In addition to on-the-job training, the Development Associate completes curriculum to support their development throughout the training period. The first three to four months will include an onboarding period through CoBank's credit management group for foundational training, including completion of structured credit training to ensure the basics of credit underwriting are understood before moving on to support credit underwriting for the Banking Divisions. Additional training on loan markets, the loan syndication process, and essential Capital Markets Analyst duties is conducted after the Development Associate transitions from Credit Underwriting to Capital Markets.
