The Opportunity:

Leidos is seeking an experienced and proficient Program Scheduler to provide strategic scheduling leadership within our Defense Systems Sector.

​In this dynamic role, you will serve as the scheduling authority for multiple Defense Sector programs, entrusted by program leadership to develop and manage the Integrated Master Schedule, drive effective scheduling solutions, and maintain alignment among technical execution, resources, risks, and overall program objectives. This role is ideal for a scheduling professional who excels in a fast-paced, highly collaborative environment and wants to apply their expertise to programs that support our national defense.

​The Senior Lead Program Scheduler will be an integral part of the larger enterprise-wide Leidos Corporate Earned Value Management (EVM) Center of Excellence (COE).  The Leidos Corporate EVM COE is a team-leading and executing the core responsibilities of scheduling, planning, EVMS, the associated infrastructure and tools, implementations, training, and surveillance for Leidos. 

Key Responsibilities. ​

• ​Serve as the primary scheduling point of contact, shaping program strategies through programmatic scheduling best practices. 

• ​Partner with program managers, IPT Leads, and technical staff to influence decision-making and optimizing program performance. 

• ​Work Independently with minimal daily oversight. 

• ​Build and maintain complex Integrated Master Schedules (IMS) compliant with EIA-748 standards and industry best practices (PASEG, NDIA). 

• ​Lead the Schedule Risk Assessments (SRA) to quantify risk exposure and create actionable mitigation strategies. 

• ​Present schedule insights, risks, and “what-if”
