Sr. Product Manager, Doctor & Research Site Profiles
H1About the role
At H1, we believe access to the best healthcare information is a basic human right. Our mission is to provide a platform that can optimally inform every doctor interaction globally. This promotes health equity and builds needed trust in healthcare systems. To accomplish this our teams harness the power of data and AI-technology to unlock groundbreaking medical insights and convert those insights into action that result in optimal patient outcomes and accelerates an equitable and inclusive drug development lifecycle. Visit h1.co to learn more about us.
H1 is giving doctors and research sites the power to claim their own profile, own how they show up, and control their own data instead of leaving us to collect it for them. When the people in our data own and maintain it themselves, it becomes far more valuable and trustworthy for everyone who relies on it. We've launched the first products here, and this is just the beginning.
H1 is an established company, but this part is just getting started. You'll be one of the first PMs on it, on a small team with direct access to leadership. The products are live and the problem is wide open, so what you build sets the direction, with the reach and data of a company that's already at scale behind you.
WHAT YOU'LL DO AT H1
As Senior Product Manager for Doctor & Research Site Profiles, your job is to build the products that make doctors and research sites want to claim and maintain their profiles. You'll shape the roadmap, prioritize and scope the work, and partner closely with designers and engineers to ship it. This is a hands-on, build-it role: you'll get into the details, sketch and prototype alongside the team, and work out what actually makes people want to show up and take ownership.
- Steward the roadmap. Help decide what to build to get more doctors and research sites to claim and complete their profile, from the claim flow to the landing pages to profile completeness. Prioritize it, and ship it with design and engineering.
- Do the hands-on work. Write the docs, design the prototypes, and occasionally write the code. We want a self-starter who, with modern tools, can take most things a long way on their own instead of handing everything off.
- Learn what makes people claim. Talk to doctors and site coordinators, dig into where they get stuck, and turn what you hear into what you build next.
- Own the project and keep everyone aligned. You're accountable for this end to end. Keep marketing, sales, data, engineering, and other product teams moving in the same direction. Sales and marketing lead the outreach to doctors and sites; you make sure the product gives them something worth reaching out about.
- Measure what's working. Focus on real, repeated use over sign-up counts, and keep the team and leadership clear on what to do next.
ABOUT YOU
- You'd rather build than hand off. When doing it yourself is the fastest path, you take it.
- You want autonomy and a hard problem, not headcount and a playbook.
- You turn a hard, open goal into a shipped product. Getting people to genuinely choose something — not because it was sold to them — is exactly the kind of problem that pulls you in.
- You start from the user, not from your own answer. You spend real time with doctors and site coordinators before you build.
- You have real product and design instincts. How something feels to use matters to you, down to the details.
- You're comfortable doing the hands-on work: writing the doc, sketching the prototype, getting into the details to make a point rather than describing it.
REQUIREMENTS
- 5+ years owning and shipping SaaS products as a PM in healthcare or healthcare data (provider records, NPI, clinical trials). Not your first time as a PM.
- Based in the NYC metro area and want to be in-person. On a small, fast-moving team, being in the room is how the work gets done.
- Consumer or prosumer product experience — individuals who choose to use it, not enterprise software sold to a buyer.
- A track record of onboarding and activation: getting people to sign up, reach real value, and come back.
- Experience taking a product from zero to launch, not just optimizing a mature one.
- Able to align engineering, design, data, sales, and marketing without formal authority.
- Experience with profile, identity, or claim-style products (LinkedIn, Doximity, Google Business Profile) is a plus.
