Responsibilities
Peraton is seeking a Cloud Technical Lead to join our diverse, growing team. The Cloud Technical Lead shall perform Operations Support and Maintenance on applications of various sizes and complexity.
Day to Day Work Responsibilities may include:
- Provides support in Operations Support and Maintenance and demonstrate knowledge of Operations Support and Maintenance industry standards and best practices, while being able to adjust and tailor accordingly.
- Provides Corrective and Preventive maintenance on all technical components including security vulnerability, change and patch management, and emergency fixes.
- The Cloud Technical Lead provides periodic technology refreshes to ensure the solution evolves with technology and emerging security requirements, current and relevant to industry standards, and federal requirements.
- Functions as a technical expert who provides management, leadership in the design, development and delivery of technology-enabled applications, products and services within a technical environment.
- Participate in and provide input into the design, re-design and development of technology products and applications.
- Contribute to and often lead the specification and design phases of the development life cycle. Manage the design and implementation of new development and enhancement efforts, and coordinate systems installation and software testing with other technologists. Responsible for the overall technical implementation of applications, and frequently interact with internal and external business contacts.
- Responsible for the technical integrity of projects while providing technical guidance to clients and department staff at the brand, program, and project levels.
- Functions as day-to-day lead on assigned projects and works with technical leadership to perform evaluations and feasibility reviews of creative concepts and technology solutions.
- Act as a point of technical escalation and resolution during the project lifecycle as it relates to technical decisions.
- Determine and provide a necessary level of technical documentation during requirements gathering, based on technical services group standards and procedures and discussions with project staff, industry experience, and technical vendors.
- Assist the technical director with scoping, identification of project deliverables, and creation of project-specific documentation such as functional specifications, technical specifications, etc.
- Proactively work with producers to ensure that appropriate staffing resources are assigned, put in place, and effectively utilized at the appropriate time.
- Work closely with quality assurance resources to create test plans and ensure that issues are properly assigned, fixed, and regressed.
- Communicate daily regarding project status with appropriate team members.
- Provide technical consultancy to department staff and participate in business development efforts including proposals, development plans, and presentations, as directed
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Business Administration Science, Mathematics, or Engineering and 10 years professional experience
- Azure Administrator Associate Certification
- 7+ Years of integration, systems analysis or programming experience, including five years in the areas of developing systems requirements and design specifications in Azure
- 3+ years of experience in project management/ lead architect positions in Azure development or implementation
- Cloud Technical Lead – Azure:
- Applies, as appropriate, activity and data modeling, transaction/workflow analysis, internal control and risk analysis and modern business methods, and performance measurement techniques.
- Provides technical direction to personnel performing systems analysis and system/ subsystem development tasks.
- Coordinates and performs logical and physical systems design.
- Reviews and prepares system documents and specifications.
- Prepares reports, studies, and documentation, delivers presentations, and participates in meetings.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Azure Solutions Architect Expert Certification
- Other Certificates supporting Microsoft technologies
