What you will be doing:

  • Support the Maintenance Management Team in the coordination and administration of maintenance department activities and strategic initiatives.
  • Develop, maintain, and periodically review Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures to ensure compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Coordinate the creation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of equipment Asset Care Plans, maintenance standards, and supporting technical documentation.
  • Maintain equipment records, asset registers, technical files, machine documentation, and maintenance compliance records.
  • Support maintenance compliance programs including statutory inspections, engineering inspections, pressure systems, lifting equipment, and other regulatory requirements.
  • Coordinate maintenance-related Health, Safety, and Environmental initiatives and support implementation of company safety standards.
  • Assist in fulfilling Responsible Person (RP) or Assistant Responsible Person responsibilities for designated compliance activities, where assigned.
  • Support the Planner/Scheduler in maintaining maintenance system data integrity, including asset structures, equipment records, preventive maintenance information, and system improvement projects.
  • Lead periodic reviews and special projects to improve the quality, accuracy, and effectiveness of maintenance system data and documentation.
  • Coordinate calibration program requirements and support monitoring of calibration service providers to ensure compliance and performance expectations are achieved.
  • Coordinate external contractors and service providers, ensuring work activities are planned, documented, and completed in accordance with company requirements.
  • Support contractor onboarding, documentation reviews, permits, compliance verification, and contractor performance monitoring.
  • Coordinate small maintenance and facilities improvement projects, including planning activities, contractor coordination, documentation, and progress tracking.
  • Assist Maintenance and Engineering personnel with project execution, equipment installations, facility modifications, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Support development and administration of service agreements, maintenance contracts, and contractor performance metrics.
  • Generate maintenance compliance reports, asset management reports, audit documentation, and performance metrics for management review.
  • Support property risk reduction initiatives and corrective action tracking in collaboration with site leadership and safety personnel.
  • Assist with maintenance purchasing activities, contractor service requests, and procurement coordination as required.
  • Support the Spare Parts Coordinator with inventory improvement initiatives, spare parts data management, stock optimization projects, and equipment bill-of-material reviews.
  • Coordinate maintenance audits, compliance reviews, and documentation assessments to ensure readiness for internal and external inspections.
  • Liaise with Maintenance, Engineering, Operations, Health & Safety, and external stakeholders to ensure maintenance objectives and compliance requirements are effectively supported.
  • Identify opportunities to improve maintenance compliance, asset management processes, documentation systems, contractor performance, and operational effectiveness.
