What you will do:
- Review and screen incoming candidates for the Campus Visitation department and coordinate interviews on behalf of respective hiring manager within org, using quality judgment to probe candidate strengths and GCU involvement.
- Deliver foundational training content to new hires, utilizing a variety of instructional formats and techniques such as role-playing, simulations, exercises, group discussions, videos, and lectures.
- Identify and incorporate best practices, frequently asked questions, and industry trends into program plans.
- Working with department heads, assist in the creation of supplemental learning activities, audio-visual materials, and lesson plans for the instructional classroom while maintaining comprehensive records of results and progress.
- Review evaluations of training courses, objectives, and accomplishments, and assess the effectiveness of training in alignment with business performance metrics.
- Coordinate the weekly staffing budget with departmental colleagues, providing department head(s) with comprehensive weekly reports, including the allocated budget, utilized budget, staffing openings, progress in requisitions, and labor inefficiencies.
- Analyze staffing needs and workforce trends to make strategic recommendations on staffing levels and workforce planning.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and best practices in staffing, training, and talent development.
- Provide regular updates and reports to senior management on staffing metrics, performance, and budgetary implications.
- Ensures employee conduct, uniforms, and personal hygiene requirements are established, understood, and enforced.
What you need:
- Bachelor’s degree from accredited institution.
- At least 1 year in a college enrollment, admissions, or visitation job role
- Must have valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
- Must pass pre-employment background investigation.
