The Senior Advanced Manufacturing Engineer is responsible for interpreting complex engineering requirements to devise and deliver optimal design solutions for sophisticated medical device components, showcasing advanced technical expertise, working under limited supervision.
Your role:
Serve as the process development lead on new product development core teams, representing manufacturing engineering throughout the product lifecycle.
Partner with R&D to influence design decisions with design for manufacturability (DFM) and design for assembly (DFA) principles.
Develop, optimize, and validate manufacturing processes (including equipment, tooling, fixtures, automation, and software, as applicable) to ensure scalability and compliance with medical device regulations (FDA QSR, ISO 13485).
Mentor junior engineers and contribute to technical reviews, project planning, and risk management activities.
Ensure all deliverables meet company procedures, regulatory standards, and project timelines.
You're the right fit if:
You’ve acquired 2+ years of experience with a Bachelor's in areas such as System Architecture, System Design, Hardware Engineering or equivalent OR no prior experience required with Master's Degree.
Your skills include the ability to assess and integrate actionable feedback from rigorous testing, user experience studies, and market trends, continuously refining and enhancing product designs to ensure exceptional customer satisfaction, competitive advantage, and market leadership
You have a Bachelor's / Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science Engineering or equivalent.
You must be able to successfully perform the following minimum Physical, Cognitive and Environmental job requirements with or without accommodation for this position.
You can cultivate effective relationships with internal/external partners and influence projects and peer groups, demonstrating full understanding of engineering specialization within the medical devices sector.
How we work together
We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week. Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities. Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations.

The pay range for this position in MN is $103,950 to $166,320
The actual base pay offered may vary within the posted ranges depending on multiple factors including job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity.
