Help Desk IT Technician - On Site

Job Title: Entry-Level Help Desk IT Technician
Location: Columbia, SC (100% In-Office)

We’re seeking a motivated and tech-savvy Entry-Level Help Desk IT Technician to join our team in Columbia, SC. This is a great opportunity for recent graduates or early-career IT professionals with 1–2 years of experience or internship exposure. The ideal candidate will be eager to grow in the IT field and ready to jump into a hands-on role supporting both local and regional staff.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up and configure desktop and laptop computers for new and existing employees
• Install and maintain software updates, patches, and security upgrades
• Provide daily IT support and troubleshooting for employees across the company
• Assist with phone system setup, configuration, and maintenance
• Maintain accurate documentation of systems, configurations, and procedures
• Provide excellent customer service and technical support with corporate and field employees.
• Prepare weekly, monthly and quarterly reports for reports
• Perform other duties and projects as assigned.

Qualifications:

• 1–2 years of IT support experience OR a recent graduate with relevant internship experience
• Familiarity with Windows OS, Microsoft Office Suite, and basic networking concepts
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• A strong desire to learn and grow in the IT field
