Accounting Manager

We are looking for an Accounting Manager to join our team at Call Dad and help us manage our accounting operations. As a fast-growing company with 7 locations across the Carolinas, we offer unique opportunities for career growth and development. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day accounting functions, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with regulations.

Responsibilities:

·  Oversee the day-to-day accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and payroll

·  Develop and implement accounting policies, procedures, and controls to safeguard company assets and ensure the integrity of financial information

·  Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting to internal and external stakeholders

·  Manage the month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial statements

·  Coordinate with external auditors and provide support during the audit process

·  Ensure compliance with tax regulations and timely filing of tax returns

·  Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes, working closely with department heads to develop and monitor budgets

·  Develop and mentor the accounting team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development

Requirements

Qualifications:

·  Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

·  5+ years of experience in accounting, with at least 2 years in a leadership role

·  Strong knowledge of GAAP and experience with financial reporting and analysis

·  Experience with budgeting and forecasting is a plus

·  Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with all levels of the organization

·  Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to develop and mentor staff

·  Proficient with Quickbooks Enterprise 

· Experience with a CRM (preferably ServiceTitan) that integrates with Quickbooks Enterprise  

· Experience in a trade and also a fast-growing company is a plus
