Position Summary

Our Lead Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) will provide supervision over both clinical and residential personnel staff. You will be accountable for ensuring proper behavior analytics services are provided to the clients of KCBHH pertaining to clinical oversight and compliance with regulatory and organizational policies. Develop, plan, and implement strategies for program continuation and growth. **Salaried Position**

Requirements

Education & Experience

--- Graduate-level certification in behavior analysis from a recognized program

--- BACB certification

--- MO State License through the MO Behavior Analyst Advisory Board

--- Proof of completion of the 8-hour supervision course

--- At least 4 years of experience working in a leadership or supervisory capacity

--- 4 years of experience working with individuals with behavioral issues preferred

--- Must be proficient with Microsoft Office, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel

--- Strong verbal and written communication skills

--- Good time management skills and ability to prioritize work

--- Demonstrates the ability to take initiative, anticipate needs, and exercise independent/sound judgment

Professional Skills

1. Design, implement, and manage evidence-based ABA services (intervention, assessment, supervision, data analysis, etc.) for a caseload, providing services to clients 40% of the work week, the other 60% devoted to supervision, training, meetings, and other clinical lead BCBA/LBA duties
2. Serve as point of contact for state and referring agencies related to clinical services conducting intake observations and following KCBHH intake policies as deemed appropriate
3. Maintain proficient understanding and working knowledge of ABA

4. Provide ongoing staff training from a clinical oversight point of view

5. Ensure all new hires receive the proper onboarding and training as outlined by KCBHH policies

6. Coordinate regularly with the Lead BCBA and Lead Clinician to ensure consistency in residential procedures, programming, and teaching principles

Management/Leadership

• Incorporate continued monitoring (i.e., review of data, collaboration with staff, etc.) of caseloads to guarantee the proper alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
• Provide supervision to BCBAs/LBAs, BCaBAs/LaBAs, P-LBAs, and individuals working towards their BCBA certification as outlined by the BACB and KCBHH policies.
• Train an assistant assessor on competency assessment implementation for RBT certification Serve as a role model to establish and foster a positive culture based on trust, respect, collaboration and integrity. Through personal example, establish the style and approach which will characterize the Company’s dealings with the marketplace.
• Manage and develop a team of employees in accordance with KCBHH’s policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing and recommending candidates; training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; recommending rewards and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems; and building an effective team dynamic.
• Actively participate in the national healthcare community; stay abreast of trends, competitors and legislation.
