Job Description
The role incumbent will undertake global demand and supply responsibilities for several own-produced and third-party product portfolios to ensure service to customers is in line with agreed fulfillment plans.
Key Responsibilities
Demand Planning:
Lead the global planning and forecasting processes for each of the assigned portfolios in collaboration with all partners, incl. commercial, purchasing, and operations.
Supply Planning:
Monitor and review replenishment performance (purchased and produced) associated with assigned portfolios and participate in improvement plans.
Inventory planning and management:
Review inventory levels across the business to meet business requirements and minimize the cost to the company. Set targets and maintain all vital data in the ERP.
All activities involve a strong focus on reporting and measuring critical metrics, supporting failure analysis and improvement activities, and handling a broad spectrum of customers.
Qualifications
- Experience (minimum 3 years) in a demand and supply planning role
- Proven experience with ERP planning systems such as Oracle, SAP, or ideally IFS
- Strong skills: relationship management, communication and teamwork skills, interpersonal skills, and powerful analytical skills.
- Ability to work well with multicultural teams in a matrix management environment
- High degree of quality awareness as well as customer and service orientation
- Proficient in written and spoken English
- Willingness to travel occasionally
