About the role

Overview

FedWriters is building a team to provide comprehensive program support to the National Science Foundation (NSF) Directorate for Computer and Information Science and Engineering (CISE) across key areas including program planning, review management, and oversight activities. As a Project Manager, NSF Advanced Cyberinfrastructure Programs, you will lead critical initiatives for the Office of Advanced Cyberinfrastructure, managing advisory committees, coordinating distinguished lecturer series, and driving strategic communications through newsletters and briefing packages.

**This position is contingent upon contract award**

 

 

Work Schedule and Location:

Hybrid: This full-time hybrid position will work Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm.  Minimum onsite requirement of three times per year for a total of six days.

Responsibilities

 

  • Manage the Advisory Committee for Advanced Cyberinfrastructure including scheduling meetings, preparing minutes, maintaining member information, and managing external SharePoint site
  • Create and distribute OAC Monthly Newsletter to keep stakeholders informed of program activities and achievements
  • Coordinate OAC participation in the CISE Distinguished Lecturer series
  • Prepare comprehensive briefing packages and visual presentations
  • Assist in developing and clearing program solicitations and management plans
  • Support Program Officers with process documentation and timeline management
  • Aid in proposal review panel coordination and reviewer recruitment
  • Coordinate workshops and interagency planning activities
  • Maintain program calendars and shared document libraries

 

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
  • Proven project management experience OR relevant certifications
  • Strong business acumen in managing complex projects
  • Demonstrated experience in communications and stakeholder management
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote)
  • Experience with collaboration tools including SharePoint, Teams, Box, and Slack
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently with minimal guidance

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in science, engineering, or mathematics
  • PMP Certification
  • Experience in research administration or federal grant management
  • Knowledge of NSF programs and processes
  • Experience with technical writing and documentation
