AIRCRAFT SECURITY CLEANER

IMPORTANT:
This position is a combined of two different job functions, Aircraft Security and Passenger Services.  By combining these two job functions it allows us to offer both full time and part time employment opportunities. When working as a passenger Service agent the hourly pay rate will be less but you have the opportunity to make TIPS from those customers who you provide assistance to. 

Aircraft Security/Catering Security Job Duties:

• Monitor and authorize entrance and departures of employees, visitors, and other persons to guard against theft and maintain security of aircraft.
• Conduct security screening (handwand and/or patdown) of those who are entering the aircraft, or who are working around the aircraft.
• Review and monitor for proper SIDA badge identification is displayed for you come in contact with.
• Log specific information on all those who are coming in contact with the AC, entrance times, names, affiliation etc.
• Inspect all items which are going on board the aircraft to ensure there are no prohibited items
• Write reports of daily activities and irregularities, such as equipment or property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences.
• Call police or fire departments in cases of emergency or presence of unauthorized persons.
• Operate detecting devices to screen individuals and prevent passage of prohibited articles into restricted area.
• Inspect all food trays which are being prepared to be placed on the aircraft to ensure there are no prohibited items.
• Inspect the transportation vehicle to ensure there are no prohibited items.
• Secure and seal the various trays once inspection is complete.
• Secure and seal the transportation vehicle once trays are placed inside of the vehicle.
• Report any irregularities immediately to proper authorities.
• Various other security related duties as required based on the individual airline requirements.

Requirements:

• Candidates must pass pre-employment background check/drug test/ FBI fingerprint check per company policy.  All employees are also subject to a company-wide Random Drug and Alcohol testing program.  Based on the secure nature of the environment in which we operate, those who do not pass the pre-employment drug test or who have previous felony convictions are not eligible for employment opportunities. 
• High school Diploma / GED required
• Must be US Citizen
• Must be able to read and write in the English language.

Shift Available:
AM – 10:00 am until 2:00 pm
Catering Security from 10:00 am until 2:00 pm
Passenger Service from 10:00am until 2:00 pm

Salary:
Aircraft Security Starting Pay - $18.00 per hour
