Position Description

The Clinical Program Manager of School-Based Mental Health is responsible for the oversight of CHRIS

180 staff who are providing services in local schools. The Clinical Program Manager of School-Based Mental Health must be knowledgeable about school systems and policies for providing school-based services. General clinical knowledge about working with youth and families is also required. The Clinical Program Manager of School-Based Mental Health reports directly to one of the Directors of School Based Mental Health.

• Supervision and Support of School-Based Staff
  • Screen, interview, select, and train school-based counseling staff via new hire process
  • Provide ongoing oversight and guidance to school-based counseling staff
  • Promote positive working relationships amongst the school-based staff
  • Assist Directors and Vice President with ensuring adequate staffing is maintained at all schools throughout the year
  • Participate in the evaluation of staff members and provide direction for growth and development, at 90 days and again at the time of annual evaluation
  • Collaborate with clinical supervisors, co Clinical Program Managers, Directors, and Community Behavior Aide supervisor to ensure that adequate support is given to all school-based staff and clients
• Administrative Oversight
  • Be available to attend school-based counseling and related meetings with districts, principals, and other designees as needed
  • Remain up to date on current school specific and district wide policies
  • Assist Directors and Vice President with periodically reviewing/revising school-based counseling program policies
  • Collect programmatic data for each school and maintain system for tracking all measures needed for grant reporting
  • Provide data summaries to Directors on a monthly basis, or as requested
• Clinical Requirements
  • Complete diagnostic verifications via Telehealth and in the community
  • Provide clinical supervision for board licensure to associate-level staff if eligible
  • Be willing to help with behavioral health assessments and other client check-ins as needed, specifically when terminations occur
  • Remain up to date on all clinical and administrative policies of CHRIS 180 in general and specifically as it relates to school-based work
  • Attendance at assigned school at least two days per week to provide clinical services to assigned clients including but not limited to Behavioral Health Assessments, Diagnostic Assessments, individual and family therapy, or CSI services utilizing evidence-based practices
  • Submit all documentation in a timely manner in accordance with CHRIS 180 policies
  • Maintain chart compliance in accordance with DBHDD and Medicaid standards
