A Production Foreperson job in Sunnyside, WA is available at Ste. Michelle Wine Estates (SMWE). The successful candidate will assist in supervising production operations and related activities for Ste. Michelle’s Cold Creek estate vineyard.

Production Foreperson job responsibilities include:

  • Under the supervision of the Production Supervisor, direct, train, and supervise production crew to management specifications.
  • Log and maintain payroll and operational information to electronic data bases.
  • Monitor performance and maintenance of hand tools and other supplies.
  • Ensure understanding and compliance with all federal, state and company policies regarding safe work practices and utilization of equipment, ensuring the understanding and proper use of all personal protective equipment.
  • Assist in achieving production goals by supplying information to management regarding worker speeds and quality parameters.

Position Requirements:

  • Must be minimum of 18 years of age.
  • HS Diploma, technical coursework preferred.
  • Ability to read, write, speak and understand English; bilingual capabilities (English/Spanish) preferred.
  • Previous experience working with productions crews in vineyards/tree crops.
  • Proven ability to supervise, motivate employees and provide direction.
  • Computer literacy encompassing Word, Excel.
  • Ability to become ATV certified within three months of employment.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50lbs, some stooping and bending for extended periods.
  • Work extended hours and weekends as required. 80% of work is performed outside.
  • History of responsible use of alcohol and other appropriate conduct, as well as fitness to be licensed, permitted, and/or certified by state and/or local regulatory bodies. 

Your Compensation: 

$20.68-26.89/hour  based upon relevant experience.
