<h2><b>Introduction to the job</b></h2><p>Communications plays a key role in helping ASML engage with its stakeholder groups to build trust and strengthen ASML’s reputation. We are a global team with colleagues across three continents. The Communications department is evolving into a highly strategic function, and this requires a step-up in our capabilities.</p><p></p><p>The Editorial team in Communications creates and maintains high-quality content that supports our communications priorities and meets audience needs. This includes internal and external news, digital content and editorial support for various corporate initiatives. We work closely with other teams and departments to ensure consistent messaging and effective content strategies. We ensure that ASML speaks with one voice on our core themes and priorities.</p><p></p><h2><b>Role and responsibilities</b></h2><p>As a Senior Editor, you will be a member of the Editorial team, reporting to the Editorial Lead. In this role, you will be pivotal in upholding and promoting our editorial style guide and tools, while leading our website editorial efforts. Ideally, you will have an interest in our technology and an understanding of the semiconductor industry.</p><p></p><p><b>Key responsibilities</b></p><ul><li><p>Maintain and promote the editorial style guide and editorial tools to ensure consistency and quality across all content.</p></li><li><p>Manage web content, including planning, production, optimization and lifecycle management.</p></li><li><p>Provide editorial support through strong writing, editing and proofreading skills.</p></li><li><p>Collaborate with cross-functional teams as an editorial expert to produce consistent and engaging content and initiatives.</p></li><li><p>Contribute to the development of narratives, messaging, presentations, digital content, video scripts and other communication materials for corporate communications.</p></li></ul><p></p><h2><b>Skills</b></h2><ul><li><p>Excellent communication skills, fluent in English (native standard).</p></li><li><p>Exceptional writing and editing skills, with a keen eye for detail.</p></li><li><p>Proven ability to uphold and lead editorial standards.</p></li><li><p>Ability to effectively tailor messages and writing style to different audiences.   </p></li><li><p>Strategic thinking, ability to align business objectives, our culture and values, and audience needs. </p></li><li><p>Being able to influence without hierarchical power, and creative in managing a large and diverse range of stakeholders. </p></li><li><p>Personal effectiveness and a collaborative way of working under pressure, with high speed of change and uncertainty. </p></li><li><p>Team player who enjoys working in multidisciplinary and multicultural teams, with the ability to work independently and reliably. </p></li><li><p>Takes ownership, gets things done, proactive, can-do mentality, meets deadlines. </p></li></ul><p></p><h2><b>Education</b></h2><p>Bachelors in Journalism, Communications, English or other relevant field.</p><p></p><p><b>Experience</b></p><ul><li><p>Minimum eight years of experience in editorial roles within a global multinational context.  </p></li><li><p>Writing and editing across a range of channels and formats.</p></li><li><p>Managing website and intranet content, developing content strategies, delivering and optimizing content, using content management systems.</p></li><li><p>Working with stakeholders and content owners to produce content that meets both business and audience needs.</p></li></ul><p></p><h2><b>Other information</b></h2><p>This is a full-time position.
