Your Responsibilities

As a Supply Management Specialist- Order Fulfilment Process for John Deere Davenport Works working in Davenport, IA, you will:

 

• Develop, build, and maintain ongoing relationships with assigned suppliers to monitor and improve supplier performance
• Convey clear and concise information to cross functional representatives (quality, manufacturing, operations, etc.)
• Optimize purchased part inventory levels to meet factory asset and delivery goals

What Skills You Need

 

• 2 or more years of Supply Management/Operations experience
• 2 or more years of experience with SAP
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, challenging team environment
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills      
• Ability to root cause & drive corrective action
• Knowledge of unit processes and operations
• Ability to travel domestically or internationally up to 25%

• Cross-functional work experience in areas such as operations, manufacturing, material flow, supply management
• Demonstrated management of multiple projects at one time
• Experience leading teams through complex problem solving
• Knowledge of the order fulfillment forecasting process

Education

 

Ideally you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following:

 

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Management, Accounting/Finance, Engineering, or equivalent related work experience
