Description

Sullivan Tire, a leading tire and automotive service company, has been family operated for more than 67 years with over 1,200 employees and currently has an opportunity for a Commercial Route Driver. A commercial route driver is responsible for the delivery of commercial tires to internal and external customers for assigned territory, which includes loading and unloading the truck. 

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for loading, delivering, and unloading products to assigned accounts in the most efficient manner while complying with all the rules of the road.
• Adheres to internal controls, policies, and procedures.
• Keeps a current and valid driver’s license with a driving record acceptable to our corporate insurers and Loss Prevention Supervisor.
• Process invoices accurately using the POS system and have a solid understanding of product and pricing.
• Responsible for assigned account base with scheduled deliveries to large accounts—partner with the commercial sales team on accounts to increase sales.
• Assumes additional responsibilities as requested.

Requirements

Education/Experience:

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Two years of commercial driving experience.
• Must be able to lift up to 125 lbs. 
• Valid CDLA license with Department of Transportation medical card required.
