General Description: Packaging Line Maintenance Technician serves as the primary Engineering Technical support for the Packaging Line. Additional duties may be assigned when packaging line is not scheduled to operate.
Responsibilities:
Support the installation and start-up of the new Packaging line and support utilities.
Provide Technical Support of the Small Molecule Dept. to complete scheduled Packaging line runs and campaigns
Change over
Start up / line clearance support
Batch/Campaign direct line support
Preventative, Corrective, Emergency Maintenance
Contractor Support
Spare Parts Inventory
Packaging Line Physical Plant Upkeep and maintenance
Develop or revise PM’s and SOP’s
Support Site Facilities.

Parts Washer Filler
Inserter Cottoner
Dust Collection Cap Torquer
Case Packer Labelers
Ink Jet Printers Cartoner
Meet BeOne business needs through executing appropriate maintenance with focus on operational readiness.
Assist in developing technical, operational procedures, calibration plans, preventative maintenance plans for responsible systems
Work with external partners as required
Assist in the maintenance of tool and spare parts inventories.
Escort contractors where applicable
Solicit and respond to user input with the team members and maintain positive relationships with all internal and external stakeholders
Demonstrate values of integrity, courage and passion and promote engagement and professional development
Other duties as assigned
Required Skills/Experience:
High School Diploma or higher.
Minimum 5 years of experience in FDA regulated industry with an emphasis on packaging and production, knowledge of process and automation a plus.
Minimum of 5+ years of GMP pharmaceutical operations support.
Strong mechanical and electrical trouble shooting skills
Experience with Good Manufacturing Practices
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across functional teams.
Proven ability to manage multiple complex priorities simultaneously under tight timelines.
Analytical problem-solving skills and proactive decision-making.
Ability to summarize and present project information clearly to management.
Preferred Skills/Experience:
Strong Written and Communication skills
Physical Requirements:
Ability to work in a packaging floor, office environment, construction site, and laboratory or manufacturing areas.
May require up to 5% travel, including visits to partner or manufacturing sites.
Must be able to sit, stand, and use standard office equipment for extended periods.
Ability to lift 50 pounds
Computer Skills:
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook).
Experience with project management tools such as Microsoft Project, Autocad, Smartsheet.
Familiarity with data management and visualization tools (e.g., SharePoint, Teams, Power BI).
Comfortable working within document management systems (e.g., Veeva Vault, eQMS, or similar).

Travel: May require domestic travel up to 5% travel
