About the Job
Villeroy & Boch is looking for a highly talented individual who can serve as an in-store ambassador 30 hours per week supporting Villeroy & Boch’s wholesale accounts in the designated territory in the areas of merchandising, training, rapport building, negotiation and communication.
Responsibilities
- Implement seasonal floor plans and maintain visual merchandising standards.
- Process receipt of goods, replenish stock on selling floors and maintain cleanliness of store displays.
- Execute directives for upcoming promotions and incentives.
- Educate store personnel on the benefits of Villeroy & Boch products, new introductions, discontinuations, pricing, product availability, and upcoming promotions. Supply brochures, digital assets, and other POS materials.
- Communicate with key decision makers and negotiate prime space & location for product.
- Provide regular feedback to your manager regarding space & location of store presentations, floor moves, customer trends/requests, stock levels, quality issues, price discrepancies, and competitive information. Provide photographs of displays as needed.
- Participate in in-store bridal, pop-up and special events.
Qualifications
- A Bachelor’s degree in merchandising or business is preferred.
- You have a minimum of one year of experience in retail, visual merchandising or the tabletop industry.
- You have excellent skills in the areas of communication, negotiation, presentation, interpersonal relationships, time management, organization, and analysis.
- You have a home computer or laptop with effective internet service, a mobile phone and an email address that can all be used to perform tasks associated with your role.
- You have access to Microsoft Office suite; Microsoft Word and Excel are standard tools for you.
- You currently live in/near Orange County, and your schedule is flexible allowing you to work weekends or evenings and travel within the territory as required (Orange County, San Diego & The Inland Empire).
- You are currently authorized to work in the United States.
