Provides fork truck service to Plant facilities: movement of raw materials, packaging components, intermediates, finished products, small package delivery, and waste disposal.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Requires Plant security clearance and fork truck certification.  Receiving, lot marking, stock put away, order filling and waste disposal.  Provides fork truck service to Plant buildings and maintains order in Plant warehouses.  Computer literacy required to perform in computer based inventory and training systems.  Must adhere to all Plant guidelines and applicable governmental regulations.

DEPARTMENT SPECIFIC/NON-ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Other duties as assigned with or without accommodation.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Education:

Preferred HS diploma or equivalent.

Preferred Skills/Qualifications:

Must be able to do simple math, read and write the English language.  Must be able to work with others in a union team environment.

Skills/Competencies:

Basic computer and cGMP.

Other Skills:

40 hour HazWoper and DOT compliance.

Other Information:

• The Material Handler will be paid $28.26 per hour. This position in Monday through Friday, 7 am to 3:30 pm.

ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIPS/SCOPE:

This job is a function of the Materials Department, which interacts with personnel in all Departments and differing levels of responsibility.

WORKING CONDITIONS: 

Must be physically fit to carry, push or pull 50lbs.  Must able to work in industrial/chemical environment.
