What you will be doing

• As a Compliance Product Manager, you are responsible for building compliance features from scratch for the entire crypto exchange.

• Owning the vision and roadmap of every aspect of compliance related, such as KYC, KYB, KYT, AML, transaction monitoring, and compliance reporting.

• Learning and updating the trend of compliance, regulation, and legal base locally and globally.

• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written): convey complex messages clearly and simply, and drive conviction across stakeholders.

• Initiating, prioritizing, and managing projects to implement the changes of compliance.

• Monitoring and improving compliance success rate based on data-driven analysis.

• Supporting marketing expansion for new countries from a compliance perspective.

What your day-to-day looks like

• Managing compliance-related IT projects across multiple teams under an agile framework daily.

• Reviewing and analyzing compliance performance and plan for further improvements every week.

• Creating dashboards and reports for compliance with provided reporting and tracking tools every month.

• Conducting compliance, regulatory, and legal research across multiple target markets and arranging sharing sessions every month.

• Communicating with the compliance team and leadership team to keep the latest compliance in check on a regular basis.

• Creating PRD (product requirement documents) for new compliance projects regularly.

Requirements

What you need to have

• 5+ years of proven experience as a Compliance Product Manager in the Fin-tech, Finance, or Blockchain industry.

• Strong understanding of KYC, KYB, KYT, and AML solutions, such as jumbo, sum sub, Onfido, chainalysis, elliptic, and so on.

• Strong project management and organizational skills with the ability to objectively prioritize.

• Logical thinker with the ability to identify and articulate rationale, assumptions, and risks.

• Proficiency in data collection and reporting tools.

• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.

• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

• Proficiency in English.

Nice To Haves

• Ideally have experience with the crypto industry or centralized exchange.

• Ideally have experience in team management and leadership.

• Candidates who have strong experience in programming are a huge advantage.

• Experience with African markets.

• Proficiency in Mandarin.
