Make your impact within a rapidly growing Fintech Company
The Core Product team is focused on building the next generation of our Accounts Payable (AP) solution. This team is building out new features and capabilities from the ground up for various initiatives across our AP product (Bill & Vendor Management, Approvals, Payment flows, etc.), with most focused on improving automation through AI and UX improvements. This is a versatile role where you will be involved with everything from design and architecture through implementation and testing. You will collaborate with team members and various cross-functional stakeholders to create these new product capabilities to delight our customers.
We’d love to chat if you have:
- 5+ years of development experience as a Frontend developer
- Experience with JavaScript (ES6), TypeScript, Angular, NodeJS, GraphQL, Apollo Client, SPA, micro frontends
- Experience with dev tools like - Splunk, Datadog, Mixpanel, LaunchDarkly, LogRocket, etc.
- Excellent teamwork, communication, and the ability to gain alignment across cross-functional boundaries
- Ability to challenge the norm and maturity to advocate for changes for the greater benefit of the business
- A passion for staying updated with the latest technologies and a drive for continuous learning and improvement
- Product: passion for great products and building great experiences, proven ability to take the product through all stages of development, from concept to launch at scale
- Work together with design team to manage the project specifications in terms of UI design
- Ability to work as feature lead with junior developers in building complex software solutions
- Be able to guide and mentor junior members of the team based on your strong technical expertise
- Proven ability to take the product through all stages of development, from concept to launch
- Expertise with all aspects of SDLC, including code reviews, unit testing, automation testing and CI/CD
- Advocate for scalability, reliability, security, and engineering best practices within the team
- Ability to communicate technical details and trade-offs effectively to stakeholders
The estimated base salary range for this role is noted below for our office location in Houston, TX. Additionally, this role is eligible to participate in BILL’s bonus and equity plan. Our ranges for each role and job level are based on a variety of factors including candidate experience, expertise, and geographic location and may vary from the amounts listed above.
