Job Description
As Corporate Procurement Manager, you'll have the unique opportunity to work within an integrated Architecture, Engineering, and Construction firm capable of executing ONEsolution integrated project delivery work. CRB has an immediate opening for an Equipment-focused Corporate Procurement Manager to join our team. This role can sit in a hybrid work environment at any CRB business location (preferred locations include Kansas City, MO; St. Louis, MO, Cary, NC; and Philadelphia, PA). The successful candidate will have the ability to quickly understand complex business needs and develop robust equipment strategies in response. This person also will build the required relationships, internally and externally, to deliver results quickly. CRB is looking for someone who can navigate uncertainty, and quickly implement efficient problem-solving tools. We collaborate with our design and construction teams to deliver client equipment on schedule, on budget, and with the quality CRB expects. We are responsible for consulting with subject matter experts to develop alternative solutions, assess options, mitigate risks, and maximize project success. This role also consults and advises direct and indirect reports within the organization.
In this role you will have accountability for:
Overall management and improvement of CRB’s procurement procedures, policies, tools, and documentation
Equipment procurement strategy development and execution
Supply chain risk identification and mitigation
Review and manage contract issues
Supervisory coordination for all regional procurement personnel must be maintained and training of regional and corporate procurement personnel
Analysis of market and delivery conditions
Investigate, analyze, and interview potential suppliers and subcontractor to determine manufacturing limitations, facilities, equipment, quality standards and experience
Manage the fulfillment of purchasing recommendations for project procurement as needed. Maintenance of historical procurement information relating to equipment is necessary to provide to estimating department
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or relevant experience required. Preferred degree in Construction or Engineering.
Minimum of ten years progressive experience in subcontracting and equipment procurement on capital projects
Preferred Qualifications:
Technical proficiency in commonly specified equipment specified for life science, biopharma, and food & beverage industries
Experience in creating efficient tools and processes for equipment expediting during challenging supply chain conditions
Experience managing and developing talent and teams
Experience with online bidding systems is preferred, Autodesk- Building Connected a plus.
