Position Summary:
As a Senior Manager, HR Business Partner – Corporate Affairs, you will partner closely with the Legal teams and the Government Affairs group within Corporate Affairs. You will have the opportunity to develop and implement HR solutions aligned to business strategy. This role will allow you to be the driving force in translating critical ideas into actionable plans that align with our purpose and can be seamlessly integrated into our everyday operations.
In this role, you will demonstrate your partnership and advisory skills through a combination of relationship building, effective communication, strategic thinking, and collaboration. You will have a strong emphasis on enabling data-driven business decisions and contributing to the overall strategic HR planning for the organization and within the Legal and Government Affairs groups.
What you will do:
Collaborates with business leaders to understand the organization's strategic direction and translate it into Human Resources strategies and initiatives.
Assesses the organization's structure, identifies opportunities for optimization, and develops strategies to enhance organizational effectiveness.
Provides thought leadership and strategic advice on talent management initiatives and other people-related priorities, helping to shape the overall business strategy.
Promotes performance management initiatives and helps create a culture of high performance and individual growth & development. Coaches people leaders and recommends tools and resources to guide effective performance feedback conversations.
Leads or participates in Human Resources projects or initiatives aimed at enhancing processes, employee engagement and engagement survey action, and diversity and inclusion efforts.
Partners with our Talent Acquisition teams as needed on strategies related to candidate selection, internal mobility, hiring strategy, and aligning with hiring managers.
Advises on compensation matters, which could include consultation on new hire offers, colleague promotions, and ongoing business cycles such as the annual compensation review process and compensation programs in partnership with the Compensation team.
Utilizes workforce data and analytics to provide insights and recommendations to business leaders by identifying trends, developing metrics to measure the effectiveness of HR programs and initiatives, and helping the business unit achieve its goals.
Provides strategic Human Resources guidance, influences decision-making, and fosters strong partnerships across the organization.
Collaborates with COE partners within the HR Team and leveraging shared resources to strengthen programs and initiatives within the business units.
Supports change management initiatives and fosters employee engagement within the organization by helping leaders effectively communicate and manage change, anticipate and address employee concerns, and create strategies to build a positive and inclusive work environment.
Provides guidance and support to business leaders, and partners with the colleague relations team on colleague relations matters.
Ensures enterprise-wide policies and practices strictly align with legal requirements and industry regulations.
Required Qualifications:
7+ years of progressive HR experience.
3+ years supporting senior business leaders, proven experience with Director+ level stakeholders.
Advanced Proficiency in MS Office suite (e.g. Excel, PowerPoint).
Willingness to travel up to 25% (including by airplane).
