Role Description

The Scrum Master serves as a Servant-Leader to the Agile team, facilitating collaboration, removing impediments, and fostering continuous improvement. This role focuses on enabling team success by promoting self-management and implementing effective ways of working. The Scrum Master collaborates across Business and Technology teams, mentoring and coaching on Agile principles and practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Leadership:
  • Act as a servant-leader to the Agile team, ensuring productivity and removing impediments.
  • Empower teams to self-organize and maintain accountability.
  • Protect the team from external distractions and interference.
  • Lead by example, upholding Scrum principles and practices.
  • Facilitate Scrum ceremonies (e.g., Sprint Planning, Daily Standups, Sprint Reviews, Retrospectives) to ensure their effectiveness.
  • Ensure delivery of work that meets the Definition of Done.
• Coaching:
  • Mentor team members on Agile principles and Scrum practices.
  • Drive continuous improvement through retrospectives and actionable insights.
  • Foster collaboration and a culture of learning within the team.
