Job Summary:
The Enterprise Systems & Employee Technology (ESET) organization powers the employee experience, internal systems, and critical enterprise technologies at PayPal. The ESET Transformation Office team sits at the intersection of strategy and operations to drive the execution of ESET and company priorities.We are hiring a Senior Business Operations Analyst to join our team. This role will report directly to the Senior Manager of Business Operations and Transformation and will play a key role in driving and supporting operational excellence and process optimization, strategic and financial planning, and cross-functional transformation initiatives in a fast-paced, global environment. This is a high-impact role with visibility to leadership and strong opportunities for career progression. The ideal candidate combines strong business acumen, advanced analytical capabilities, and exceptional communication skills to deliver actionable insights and strategic recommendations.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze and optimize business processes to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and drive operational improvements
- Support and identify opportunities to improve operating cadences including portfolio reviews, staff meetings, and domain operations reviews
- Manage special projects, conduct independent research, and recommend innovative solutions with support from the Senior Manager of Business Operations and Transformation
- Partner cross-functionally with teams across Technology, Finance, Sales, Product, and other orgs to drive aligned business outcomes
- Prepare and present executive-level reporting on org and portfolio performance, process optimizations, and other proposals or recommendations to senior leadership
- Support workforce planning efforts, including headcount forecasting and analytics across FTE and contingent workforce
- Support planning and materials preparation for key vendor reviews (QBRs) in collaboration with vendor management and technology and business stakeholders
- Support strategic planning, annual planning, and OKR execution processes across ESET domains
- Maintain internal communications platforms and knowledge management (e.g., SharePoint)
- Coordinate employee engagement initiatives, survey follow-ups and action items, and culture-building activities
