What You Will Do

Join the Parts Business Analytics team at Johnson Controls and help transform data into actionable insights that drive customer satisfaction, operational efficiency, and profitable growth across our North America Parts business. In this role, you will collaborate with operations, supply chain, product, and commercial teams to design analytics solutions, automate reporting, and lead measurable process improvements.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver Insights & Storytelling

• Develop and maintain analytics products (dashboards, models, exploratory analyses) focused on parts sales trends, fill rate, backorders, distribution center performance, and inventory health.

• Translate data findings into clear recommendations and operational playbooks for leadership and frontline teams.

Own Reporting & Automation

• Design governed datasets and Power BI dashboards.

• Build repeatable data pipelines and documentation aligned with enterprise standards.

Drive Business Outcomes

• Partner with DC Operations, Planning, Order Excellence, Product, and Finance to prioritize use cases, define KPIs, and track performance improvements (e.g., on-time delivery, inventory turns, backorder cycle time).

Requirements & Delivery

• Lead requirements gathering, process mapping, and user story development.

• Manage change requests, acceptance criteria, and delivery milestones in collaboration with PM/PO and technical teams.

Data Quality & Governance

• Promote data quality rules, reference/master data alignment, and stewardship practices in partnership with IT and Data teams.

Stakeholder Enablement

• Develop training materials, host office hours, and support self-service analytics for business users.

Continuous Improvement

• Identify process gaps, test hypotheses (including A/B testing where applicable), and quantify impact using controlled metrics.
